A brief evaluation of Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is a beautiful facility for flexibly providing space and skills to publish, document and arrange texts, etc. It also originates from my thoughts, and personal impressions.

In particular, the possibility to detect plagiarism through www.turnitin.com is immensely useful and holds great prospects for quality assurance in the tertiary education system.

With the possibility of using google as a conversion table is exciting. It reduces the drudgery of employing calculators and conversion tables.

Also interesting is the novel use of Web 2.0 in the development of rural communities, as exemplified in the rural women in francophone West Africa. this prospect actually suggests that the target groups should be consentrated within the Local Government Areas.

In all, so far, the Workshop has been very rewarding. I look forward to acquiring more knowledge in subsequent exercises,
